PIRIE books The Savoy for late May as confidence is high that treble is still on!

He’s a busy lad, is our own Howard Pirie, the Head of Media Operations at Toolstation NCEL Premier Division One side Bottesford Town; on Wednesday night, his Poachers side replay their Buldbase FA Vase Second Qualifying Round tie against Central Midlands Football League Division One side Pinxton FC at Ontario Road, with an away tie at Leicester Senior League Premier Division outfit Saffron Dynamo up for grabs for the winner- and whilst Howard isn’t yet a victim of “knockout fatigue” , he’s certainly in the doctor’s waiting room, writes Colin Muncie.

Howard told the Bootiful Game ” Lordy Lordy, it’s our seventh Cup game on Wednesday and it’s only September 19th ! If we can get through our replay we have another away tie in Leicester. It’s like Groundhog Day every week at the moment. Positives are that with a win, a spicy tie at Saffron Dynamo awaits.”

“Legs are heavy but spirits are high” Howard reported ” and the treble is still on”

“We continue to love it Up at Botty”.
