Saturday sees Ryan Hindley return to the dug out as he oversees his first game in charge of Rossington Main, looking to put a stop to Main’s run of five successive defeats, and he told The Bootiful Game how much he is looking forward to it “I’m very excited, we trained hard on Tuesday and have a game behind closed doors on Thursday so my thanks have to be with the Chairman for allowing us to use the pitch.”
Hindley’s first opponents are bottom side FC Bolsover who will be looking to avenge their narrow defeat at Rossington in August, but the new Manager feels his new look team will be more than capable of completing an early season double “I want the lads to go into the game on Saturday full of confidence and belief. We have added experience with some good quality and there will hopefully be two more major signings before the game kicks off. If that doesn’t happen I have total faith in the 14 lads that will be involved. It will be a new look team with a new shape and a new way of playing. Me, Stu and Tom have really been impressed with the lads, so for me Saturday can’t come soon enough.
“We will give Bolsover all the respect they deserve. But come 3 o’clock, both Managers, Chairmen, players and fans know that it’s a must win game for both teams, even at this early stage of the season.”
