Harrogate Railway host Bridlington Town at Station View on Saturday, with new Rail Manager Craig Ogilvie keen to turn recent improved performances into points as he tries to steer Rail from the bottom of the table writes Ian Robinson.
He told The Bootiful Game that he is looking forward to the game “The lads have been in twice this week as we continue to improve and work on the shape and style of play which we’ll be taking into the game. Bridlington are another strong team in this league and their players will be wanting to impress the interim management, so I’ve no doubt they’ll fancy their chances of beating us again after their 3-0 victory in the FA Cup earlier in the season.
“I’d like to think we’re a different proposition this time round though and hopefully, as we have done the last few weeks, put in a good performance and maybe we might just get that little bit of luck which we’re owed and come away with some points.”
Meanwhile, The Seasiders’ Interim boss Brett Agnew is looking up rather than down following last week’s FA Vase win “I’m looking forward to getting going in the league and start climbing up towards a respectable place. I will be telling the boys not to take Harrogate lightly as anyone can beat anyone in this league.
“We have a few suspensions and a few injuries but we are covered in all those spots and I expect to be firing on all cylinders with the way the boys have trained for myself and Bowz.
“I don’t fear anyone in this league and that’s what we are drumming into the lads so they will run through brick walls if we ask!”
