Agnew looking to take bragging rights in East Yorkshire derby

Bridlington Town’s Interim Manager Brett Agnew is hoping to secure the bragging rights over Hall Road Rangers at the weekend and continue The Seasiders’ upturn in form following on from Wednesday night’s thrilling victory at Worksop.

The last time the two clubs met, Brid hit Rangers for six and Agnew will be more than happy to see a repeat of that outcome, telling The Bootiful Game “It’s always good to play in a local derby as you want to get one up on your rivals or friends but this isn’t going to be a fun day out for us.

“It’s business and I’ll be expecting the boys to keep the high standards they have produced since myself and Anthony have taken over.

“With the strikers all scoring in the last few games, we will be hoping they take that into the game against Hall Road and finish the game off as early as possible.”
