Hindley & JT delighted as Rosso win on the road

Rossington Main Manager Ryan Hindley has told The Bootiful Game that there will be big news coming out of Oxford Street this week with some exciting signings expected.

“We will be bringing in two new faces to improve the group. I’m excited by these two players and it will send a few shock waves through the league as they are coming from the Evo Stick Premier, and before I get the money bags shout, their clubs are funding the moves.”

Speaking in the aftermath of Main’s 2-0 win at Ollerton Town thanks to goals from stalwarts Lee Holmes and Jason Stokes, Hindley praised his side’s defensive qualities “It wasn’t the best performance of my tenure, that was on Wednesday and we got 0 points, so I’ll take the 3 points and we will move on quickly. We were lucky today, but we dug in and defending is an art as much as forward play, so I’m delighted with the clean sheet. These lads are running through brick walls for our great club so I’m delighted with that tonight.”

After winning two out of his first three games in charge and seeing Main start to climb the table, Hindley is eager to meet the home crowd next week when Rossington host Skegness Town “I’m looking forward to my first home game, it will be nice to fill the ground and by the sounds of it there will be a massive crowd.”

Livewire forward Jordan Turner echoed his bosses thoughts, telling us “It was a big win for us today although we were nowhere near our best and we rode our luck at times, but you have to be happy with 3 points and a clean sheet.”

Turner also took time to praise the opposition, adding “Credit to Ollerton as they never gave in and I can see them taking points off plenty of teams this year.”
