Last word on this weekend’s action goes to Harrogate Railway manager Craig Ogilvie as he saw his side slip to a 3-2 defeat away at Handsworth Parramore.
“Really don’t know where to start. I’m disappointed with the result because we’ve lost, but extremely encouraged and pleased with the performance because yet again it’s been superb, especially in the second half and how we’ve not score more than two goals is beyond belief!
“Biggest frustration for me is our lack of ruthlessness in front of goal and again individual errors, not to mention gifting teams early leads which you just can’t do in this league. We’ve missed by this standard of football three sitters, not even good chances, real sitters and all other teams are scoring these and we have to start doing the same.
“We have to punish teams when we’re on the front foot. We now have our set way of playing and to come here which is an extremely difficult place to come and do what we’ve done today I’m a proud gaffer. But being a proud gaffer and playing well doesn’t give you 3 points and the next step of the project now is to start turning the performances into results.
“The lads know the level of requirements now and they’ve set their standards for the rest of the season in my eyes.”
