Bridlington Town Manager Brett Agnew has a quick turnaround after last night’s defeat to in-form Penistone as he prepares his players for an equally daunting away day at sixth-placed Handsworth Parramore this weekend- and he’s been reflecting pretty deeply on the causes of that loss in South Yorkshire, writes Colin Muncie.
Brett told TBG that he reckons his tactical approach might not have been quite right at Church View- but he’s not going to be dwelling on it before the journey to Sandy Lane.
“I think, reflecting on Wednesday’s game, that I as the manager maybe made a formation mistake which I have to hold my hand up for. We -as a team- need to pick ourselves up and dust ourselves down and get back to winning ways against Handsworth -which will be another tough test.
“I’m confident we can get back on track”.
