Bamf & Wippy have their say ahead of difficult Nostell slobber-knocker!

A game to get your teeth into at Sandygate this Saturday when eighth-placed Hallam welcome the joint leaders on points in Toolstation NCEL Division One, Nostell Miners Welfare ,to S10- and Joint Manager Stephen Whitehead is hoping that his players continue their recent fine form in these high-profile encounters, writes Colin Muncie.

Stephen told TBG “It’s another big game on Saturday and our lads seem to be turning up at the minute. Let’s hope we have turned up again come 17:00 Saturday. Nostell are in great form and have been right from the off. Our lads are going to have to perform to the same levels as we have been to get anything from the game.”

“It’s set to be another great advert for our League”.

Stateside-bound Nostell Joint Manager Jason Dodsworth sent the Banter meter off the scale here at TBG Towers earlier today, so it’s no real surprise that his buddy , Hallam’s Assistant Manager Dean Bamforth was quick to provide a discrete insight into Jason’s holiday planning arrangements as he looked forward to another bumper crowd at Sandygate this weekend.

“It’s another game” Dean told us “and we don’t look at Leagues until after Christmas so we’ll take it like the rest. They’ve improved obviously, and Doddo is a mate, but I think he waited until the fixtures were out and booked New York this weekend!!!

“We’re doing okay and are happy at the minute; we’re hoping for another fantastic crowd as they played a major part in us beating Shirebrook last Saturday.”
