Watson desperate to get back to winning ways!

Winterton Rangers may have lost their last two Toolstation NCEL Division One fixtures, but they remain top of the table on goal difference courtesy of that blistering start to the campaign. Tomorrow, they travel to 16th-placed Harworth Colliery, also on the wrong end of two consecutive defeats away from home- so Rangers Manager Rob Watson isn’t expecting an easy ride at the Jones and Co. Stadium tomorrow afternoon, writes Colin Muncie.

Rob admitted that getting the three points is important to his side’s momentum, with Hallam due at West Street in midweek. “We want to get back to winning ways. In the last two games we’ve played decent teams with ten men and still managed to compete. We’ve got a couple of players to come into the squad which will cover for the suspensions. Harworth are coming off a loss and I’ll be expecting them to come out fighting”.

“They have a good management team and will be looking to take points off anyone in the League”.
