Bridlington Town face a huge test on Saturday as they visit high flying Sunderland RCA with their hosts currently occupying second place in the Northern League, writes Ian Robinson.
Seasiders boss Brett Agnew is certainly relishing the challenge ahead, telling The Bootiful Game “We’re all looking forward to Saturday as it will be another big test and we are not just coming to make the numbers up.
“I think we have an identity about our play now which the boys are buying into so hopefully that gets us into the next round come Saturday night.”
Agnew also revealed that he is hoping to bolster the ranks ahead of the weekend, saying “We are hoping to bring a couple of boys in for the game, it’s just whether we can get them over the line or not.”
Brett also took time out to wish his fellow
Managers the best in their respective bids to emulate the great Vase run of Cleethorpes Town a couple of years ago “Good luck to all the rest of the NCEL teams in the competition, it will be good to see another run to the final from one of us.”
