HEATH: “We go into the weekend with confidence!”

Knaresborough Town, a lofty fourth in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division , renew hostilities with Hall Road Rangers at Manse Lane this weekend-and Knaresborough player-coach Colin Heath is shrugging off Matt Sykes’ late equaliser for Worksop Town in last weekend’s thrilling clash in North Yorkshire, writes Colin Muncie.

Colin is looking forward to locking horns with Rangers, a side with which he’s pretty familiar. He told TBG “We go into the weekend with confidence, even though we didn’t get the result we wanted last Saturday. We believed our performance deserved it and it’s always a tough one to take conceding in the last minute. Moving on to Saturday’s game, we welcome Hall Road, a team we know well from a couple of seasons back, who gave us two tough games the year they went up.

Colin is delighted with the way his side is shaping up “The squad is getting stronger” he told us “and we’ve added some real quality in the last few weeks to what we already have, and so competition for places is healthy”.

“Everyone’s looking forward to the game on Saturday, putting in another good performance at home -and hopefully coming away with all three points”.
