Millington feels that the two sides are likely to be pretty evenly matched ahead of Vase tie

Dronfield Town head to the banks of the River Soar, south east of Loughborough to Riverside Park for their FA Vase First Round tie with East Midlands Counties side Barrow Town on Saturday- and manager Chris Millington feels that the two sides are likely to be pretty evenly matched, writes Colin Muncie.

Chris has been doing his homework on Saturday’s opposition.. He told TBG “We are looking forward to our FA Vase tie against Barrow on Saturday. Our opponents are in really good form and sit fourth in the East Midlands Counties so it’s got all the makings of a really good game. We were a little disappointed with the result last week (at home to Glasshoughton) but on reflection there were aspects of our game that I was happy with. Last Saturday’s loss was our second of the season, so it will be interesting what kind of response we get from the players”.

Chris is hoping for a good travelling support at the weekend “ Saturday will be another great occasion for the club” he told us “and we go down there with nothing to lose ,hoping to get through to the next round”.
