STOCKS is looking to stamp their authority and progress in Vase again

After our trip to Dronfield last weekend, The Bootiful Game heads to the second of its match reports from NCEL clubs when it visits Rotherham Road on Saturday to take in Swallownest’s FA Vase First Round Tie as North West Counties League Division One side Garstang travel (from their Riverside home north of Preston ) to Sheffield on an important day for both clubs-and Swallownest Manager Jordan Stocks helped us set the scene by suggesting that both sides have been a little up and down so far this term, writes Colin Muncie.

Jordan told TBG “After the disappointment of our last result (a home defeat to Armthorpe Welfare in NCEL Toolstation Division One), we welcome Garstang in the FA Vase. We don’t know much about them, in all honesty; we’ve heard reports and looked at their form, and they’re pretty much similar to ourselves- a bit inconsistent. The lads have trained hard and put the work and enthusiasm in so we will be looking to stamp our authority and progress in the Competition again”.

“What an achievement that would be for all involved.”

FA Vase, Swallownest v Garstang, Rotherham Road, Sheffield S26 4UR. Kick off 3pm.
