After a difficult start to the 2018/19 season, NCEL Premier Division side Handsworth Parramore and manager James Colliver have parted company after 18 months at Sandy Lane.
Colliver guided the Ambers to a 4th place finish in the league last term but a tough start to the campaign, along with an FA Cup exit to Congleton Town and compounded by Saturday’s 2-0 loss in the FA Vase to Irlam, it is time for a new manager in the dugout.
An official statement from the club says, “The board of Handsworth Parramore FC can confirm the departure of manager Jas Colliver and assistant Gary Middleton.
The board would like to place on record their thanks to Jas and Gary for their efforts over the past 18 months and wish them well in their future career’s.
We would also like to place on record our thanks to Jas & Gary’s respective families for their support of the club during their tenure.
The club will make an announcement in the next 24 -48 hours with regards to interim management arrangements ahead of Wednesday nights Sheffield Senior Cup game away at AFC Emley.”
