Ogilvie frustrated after letting two-goal lead slip!

Harrogate Railway Athletic squandered a two-goal half-time lead yesterday as Thackley came from behind to draw 2-2 at Station View, a result which leaves them bottom of the NCEL Premier Division standings.

Manager Craig Oglivie was frustrated following the final whistle, “The 2-2 scoreline I don’t think reflected the game in terms of value for money for the neutral! Looking at every goal I think they were avoidable for both teams.”

“We’ve caught them in behind twice through poor defending on their part and they’ve scored two from set pieces which we certainly should have dealt with.”

“It was a game which lacked any real quality and we were 2-0 up at half time without really playing well! Twice in a row now we’ve been in front at half time and not taken three points which is frustrating for me.”

“We had chances to win it today but to be fair so did Thackley, so on the plus point it’s a point and we’ve stopped the losses but I think Patrick will probably feel the same and think it’s two points dropped.”
