Herrick bemoans bad day at the office for Bottesford

Bottesford Town Assistant Manager Leigh Herrick was brutally honest in his assessment of the game following Town’s 4-0 drubbing at Yorkshire Amateur, writes Ian Robinson.

“It’s easy to see why they’re up there” said Leigh, “but when you reflect on a game and you look at your own camp, you have to be realistic in your analysis, and today was a bad day at the office for us.”

Looking forward to next Saturday’s visit to Thackley, Leigh will be expecting an improved performance, adding “We don’t make excuses. We dust ourselves off and regroup, stick together and get ready for the next game and go and be better.”
