Agnew is hoping that his players maintain their recent efficiency in front of goal

An absolute crackerjack of a clash between Toolstation NCEL Premier Division League Leaders Yorkshire Amateur and fourth-placed Bridlington Town at the Southerns Stadium this evening – and Seasiders Manager, Brett Agnew is hoping that his players maintain their recent efficiency in front of goal, writes Colin Muncie.

Brett – who welcomes back midfielder Danny Norton from North Ferriby United for tonight’s game – admits that Ammers have made a remarkable transition from Division One to the top flight. “This will be a tough test for us tonight against a team that havemade the step up from below look very easy, to be honest,” Brett told TBG. “It’s all about how you approach these types of games and who on the day takes their chances. In recent games we have made lots of chances and taken them – so hopefully that run keeps going and we get another three points to take us up a place.”

“As always we must respect our opponents – but that’s all, as after that its business; and I tell my boys to do anything to win the match.”
