Superb gesture from Non-League Keeper to young fan

Currently on loan from National League North side Boston United, Cleethorpes Town keeper Dylan Parkin has made a young man happy this afternoon by gifting him a pair of his match-worn gloves and boots.

Parkin linked up with Boston United in the summer of 2018 following his release from National League newcomers Chesterfield. Parkin was a regular on the Spireites’ bench in 2017-2018, although he did not make a senior appearance at the Proact Stadium. He signed an initial one-year deal upon joining the Pilgrims.

Owls super-fan Cody Dobson received the gift this afternoon before their league game against Loughborough Dynamo, his dad Martyn said, “He is delighted to received them. He was completely unaware and it is a superb gesture. Cody is really chuffed and it shows what a superb community club we have here at Cleethorpes Town.
