EVANS is apoplectic: “Hopefully they are man enough to take it, if they can’t they know where the door is!”

Two-one up just after the break, Swallownest Assistant Manager, Joel Evans expected his side to at least come back from East Yorkshire Carnegie with a minimum of a point – however they capitulated to a 5-2 loss.
Luke Beeham put Swallownest one-up on 7 minutes. Tom Horner equalised for EYC just before the break. Moments after the restart Jordan Livett put Swallownest back in front.
However, that was the scoring done for Swallownest who went on to let four-goals in during a mad 19 minutes (Tom Whiting ’57, Ryan Williams ’70, Dan Walker ’72, Josh Walker ’76) which left Evans fuming!
“If I could swear I would! We were cruising at 2-1, then again we can’t do the basics and it’s costing us. Tonight we travel home very angry and upset.”
“The lads know it and hopefully they are man enough to take it, if they can’t they know where the door is. Training will be intense this week to hopefully get a reaction next week.”
