Handsworth sign two ex-EFL Pro’s & an athletic Midfielder!

NCEL Premier Division side Handsworth Parramore have confirmed three signings ahead of their encounter this afternooon against Knaresborough Town at Sandy Lane.

A statement from the club says, “Our Interim management team of Jon Froggatt & Steve Istead have had busy week and and were delighted to confirm the capture of 3 excellent signings for the club in Jan Budtz, Waide Fairhurst & Ricky Paylor.

6ft 4″ Goalkeeper Jan Budtz brings a vast amount of experience, the Danish born stopper started his pro career in England with Doncaster Rovers with spells at Wolves, Hartelpool and Oldham, his non league career has seen him have stints at the likes of Gainsborough ,Worksop , Staylbridge, and more recently at Buxton Fc & Ilkeston Fc.

Sheffield born striker Waide Fairhurst joins us from Sheffield FC , Waide also started his pro career at Doncaster Rovers , with spells at the likes of Shrewsbury, Southend, Macclesfield & Lincoln City , he moved into Non league with spells more recently at Boston United & Frickley Athletic, a striker who prides himself on work rate and certainly has an eye for a goal.

Finally a very familiar name to Ambers fans Ricky Paylor , Ricky has played against us a number of times in recent years as excellent spells at Bridlington Town and Barton saw him earn a move to Evo Stick side Belper Town from whom we sign him. Ricky is an athletic midfielder who has great experience of playing and excelling at NCEL level.”
