Barrett felt that it had been a good day at the office!

Bragging rights, three points, and up to second in Toolstation NCEL Division One for Grimsby Borough as they saw off former table-toppers and local rivals Winterton rangers at West Street yesterday afternoon – and Wilderness Boys Manager, Daniel Barrett felt that it had been a good day at the office, writes Colin Muncie.

Two Jack Debnam first half penalties clinched the away win in front of the crowd of 112.

“It was a good win for us,” Daniel acknowledged. “I was surprised after today. I expected more of a competitive game, but our lads were disciplined and we deserved the win. Dan Trott and Marc Cooper bullied their opponents today and everyone did what we asked.”

“A very pleasing performance and we move onto next week.”
