Collins happy with Skegness performance

Skegness Town completed a quick fire double over Harworth Colliery with two late goals from James Wroot and William Britton, the 2-0 win lifting Skeg up a place to 17th, writes Ian Robinson.

A happy Joint Manager Nathan Collins told TBG “It was a very pleasing performance from the whole squad today against a side that have had some really good results at home. Apart from a 15 minute spell in the second half, I thought it was a dominant performance from us and the work rate was excellent throughout. We know we have a long way to go to get to the levels we are looking for, but we are improving and the players are taking things on board and that’s all we can ask.”

The Lilywhites are next in action when they entertain AFC Emley next Saturday.
