Rossington Main are starting to look up the table as we come towards the end of the year. November was a great month for the ‘Main’ (especially towards the end) as they only lost 1 of their last 5 games, writes Mitchell Radford.
They had wins over Swallownest and Armthorpe in the league, and a Sheffield Senior Cup victory on penalties against Handsworth Parramore who play a league above! They also managed a very credible draw against Dronfield Town who sit in 8th position with games in hand.
Rossington manager Ryan Hindley is hoping for an equally good (if not better) December period which would see Rossington shoot right up the league. He had a few words for TBG earlier.
“I’m hoping we can continue our form from Late November into December. We have a tough period with games on Saturday, then Tuesday most of the month, but it’s exciting and some great games against teams around us.
We have a lot of injuries and niggles at the moment so the squad is going to be utilised with players being given chances so hopefully they can take their chance and stake a regular claim.
Have a great Christmas love Santa…
