Handsworth Parramore had a very good end to November, beating 3rd placed Knaresborough Town 1-0. They backed that up in the last game of November, with a 0-3 thumping against Thackley away from home!
Conceding goals has been a bit of of a problem for ‘Parras’ this season, but hopefully their new signing of goalkeeper Jan Budtz will help fix that problem. So far he has been a perfect fit as he has played two games and kept two clean sheets.
Handsworth midfielder Jed Phillips hopes his side can put a together and shares his thoughts on the Thackley game. “It was a tough game Saturday, Thackley have been on a good run of form of late, so we knew it wasn’t going to be easy, but the lads put a good shift in and managed to grind a positive result out of it. Which I think we’ll have to do more of if we want to put a good run together, it’s not always going to be pretty in this league. Two clean sheets In a row now as well, which is a bonus. All in all we got what we came for from the game and hope to carry it in to next week 👍”
We will see if their mini run continues this weekend as they face Hall Road Rangers at home, Saturday 8th December!
