It is 11th vs 12th when Shirebrook Town face Rossington Main on Saturday. Shirebrook being in the better position despite being in 12th as they have games in hand over Rossington.
It promises to be a good game as Shirebrook are coming up against an improved Rossington side who have only lost one game in five. Shirebrook only winning one game in November, they did play some tough sides though as they faced Dronfield Town, Nostell Miners Welfare and Worsbrough Bridge who all sit inside the top eight.
Shirebrook Town manager Alan Widdowson thinks the game against Rossington will be ‘tough’ and hopes his side can produce the past performance against Nostell.
“If we can produce the performance like we did against Nostell then we know we are more than capable of winning the game. It will be tough because Rossington are on a very good run at the minute so we will have to be at our best to get something from the game.
“We do have key players out through suspension and injuries but the players available are ready for the challenge. We are all looking forward to the next run of fixtures and hopefully we can move up the table!”
