Benn is expecting the Miners to provide his players with the sternest of tests

A decent looking match-up at the Bannister Prentice Stadium tomorrow when thirteenth-placed Garforth Town host Hemsworth Miners Welfare, in seventh, in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division-and Wells’ Manager Wayne Benn is expecting the Miners to provide his players with the sternest of tests, writes Colin Muncie.

“Tomorrow we travel to Garforth for what I’m sure will be a tough game” Wayne told TBG. “They have a good squad and are coming into the game on the back of a good win last week so we will need to perform well to win the game”.

Wayne wants his players to convert their recent form into more three point hauls.”We have been playing well without getting the rewards, particularly in the last two games “ he noted “but we only have ourselves to blame for that- and it’s something we need to rectify. We will go and be positive- as always- and try to come away with all three points to keep us in the pack; but we know it won’t be easy- Garforth will provide strong opposition”.
