“On Monday the club felt it was necessary to issue a post on twitter regarding Respect and how the Club feels everyone should be treated. This was due to comments made over last weekend towards our Management team from a section of the crowd at our game against Bolsover FC And also on Social Media.
“Unfortunately due to these Negative comments being removed from Social Media by these so called supporters, It looked as though our Statement (Tweet) had been aimed at a Valuable Member of our Committee. As a Club we would like to put on record that this was not the case and that the Statement/Tweet was aimed at the select few supporters within the club that had expressed their angers at the Management team.

“We would like to also say to our supporters at the Ground and on Social Media Please carry on posting your humourous comments and photos and please brighten up our Saturdays and Match days We can’t survive without you the fans,
“As a club we would like to say that yes times can be frustrating for everybody, but under no circumstance do we accept or believe that anyone should be exposed to Abuse from anyone, This matter has now been dealt with within the club and Glasshoughton Welfare wish to draw a line under this and move on to our next Game at home this Saturday 3pm Kick Off against 6th Placed Worsborough Bridge Fc, We hope to see you all down supporting the club and get behind the Boys and cheer them on.”
