Sad news as Coalville Town footballer diagnosed with serious illness

On Tuesday this week EvoStik Central Premier Division side Coalville Town footballer Courtney Wildin was given the news he has leukemia.

A statement from the club says “22 year old Courtney joined us in the summer from Nantwich Town and has also played for Nuneaton. He also plays international football for Antigua and has been away with them several times this season.

He is now in hospital undergoing his first round of treatment.

Ravens Chairman Glyn Rennocks said “ Courtney has been a fantastic player both on and off the field since he joined us and we are all deeply shocked at the news. We will support him as best we can and we all wish him a speedy recovery.””

We at The Bootiful Game wish Courtney all the best.
