Skeg looking for back-to-back wins on Saturday

Looking to build on their win from last Saturday against Harworth Colliery, Skegness Town face AFC Emley at home this Saturday, writes Mitchell Radford.

AFC Emley are coming into the game on the back of a 0-0 draw against 2nd placed Grimsby Borough. They were unlucky to lose against 8th placed Dronfield Town by a solitary goal the week before.

Skegness are looking for all three points to help in their relegation fight. We shouldn’t be too harsh though as it is their first season in the NCEL after being promoted last season. They currently sit in 17th place, Ironically with 17 points.

Skegness joint manager Nathan Collins is ‘looking forward to the game. “We are looking forward to a game that we know will be another tough one, but the new signings have fitted in really well for us. Also the lads are coming off the back of a dominant display last week so we will work hard again and hopefully pick up some more points to keep us moving up the table.”
