Beers at the ready as Mason anticipates tough Hallam tie!

Ahead of tonight’s Sheffield and Hallamshire Senior Cup game between Maltby Main and Hallam, we caught up with Main manager Scott Mason, who is anticipating a tough encounter.

“Hallam visit tonight in a game we’ve all been looking forward to. We played a friendly in pre-season and one against them only the other month so we know a lot about each other.

“The management team at Hallam are a good set of lads and the squad that has been assembled would do really well in our league. Just looking at the league position and results this season in the cups, we know we are in for a tough night.

“But saying all this, we are the home side and have a quality squad that will be looking to win the game so we need to use this to our advantage. We know what to expect from a good attacking side but our lads will be well-drilled and organised as always .

I’m sure it will be a great game for the supporters tonight and after we will all have a few beers as always.”
