Countrymen Management team are looking forward to meeting up with some familiar faces

Sheffield and Hallamshire Senior Cup action at Muglet Lane this evening as Premier Division Maltby Main welcome promotion–chasing Hallam from Division One for what, on the face of it, looks like a cracking game for the neutral – and the Countrymen Management team are looking forward to meeting up with some familiar faces, writes Colin Muncie.

“It’s a massive task for us playing against one of the top teams from the League above,” Joint Manager Scott Bates told TBG. “It’s a great game to be involved in. As in any game of football you want to play against the best teams and I am sure our players are looking forward to the game as much as we are.”

Assistant Manager Dean Bamforth is hoping to put one over on the Miners. “It should be terrific, I think. We’ve a great relationship with them via Nebs (Manager, Scott Mason) and Louis (Axcell, Assistant Manager), who always help us out if they can – so bragging rights are massively at stake.”

“We’ll go in as underdogs against a good Premier Division side but will look to be competitive and see what we can get.”
