Gill admits that the Newlands venue hasn’t been a happy hunting ground for him and his players

Level on points in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division in which they sit eighteenth and seventeenth respectively, Hall Road Rangers visit Throstle Nest this Saturday as they round off 2018 with a crucial match-up with Albion Sports – and Rangers Manager, Bill Gill admits that the Newlands venue hasn’t been a happy hunting ground for him and his players, writes Colin Muncie

Bill doesn’t think that the omens are good for him this weekend either. “On Saturday, we go to Albion – a team I’ve never had any fortune with over the last four seasons at this level and it doesn’t help they have lost the last 5 games meaning they will be well up for this one,” Bill warned. “We have everyone available for this fixture and will need to be bang on it to get anything from the game. Three points would be perfect for Christmas, but we know that it won’t be gifted. We will need to earn the right to play and have the quality in front of goal that we were missing from last week’s disappointing result.”
