“Fuming and angry…”, they were the first three words out of Worsbrough BA manager’s mouth after their 2-2 draw at home against Harworth Colliery.
Twice Bridge led, and twice they were pegged back, something Morris was disappointed with, “Fuming and angry with our second half performance and it’s not acceptable. First half we excellent and if it was a boxing match it would have been stopped but it’s football and if you don’t take your chances you get punished.
“We played some outstanding football in the first half and went in 2-1 up and praised the lads and told them to keep doing what they were doing at half time what they heard must have been completely different we didn’t pass the ball once didn’t win any battles and fair play to Harworth they never gave in and they are fighting for there lives and it showed as I think the lads thought it was won at half time which is totally unacceptable.
“It shows a lack of respect towards Harworth which I will not accept or tolerate. When good teams are in winning positions they punish teams or they manage the game right we did neither of these which I’m fuming about fair play to Harworth on getting a point. We will train hard midweek and have to pick ourselves up for next weekend.”
