Chairman Albert Dudill takes the Parkgate club he formed 50 years ago this year to Worsbrough Bridge Athletic this weekend for the seventh versus eighth clash in Toolstation NCEL Division One – and Briggers Manager, Lee Morris is full of praise for Albert’s latest management team at Roundwood.
Lee told TBG Editor Craig Kendall, “First of all I want to say, you have to give all the plaudits to Andy and Lee on the fantastic job they have done since they got the job – and to be on a winning run like they are is unbelievable – and I take my hat off to them.”
Lee is convinced that it will be a cracking encounter. “I’m really looking forward to this game and I think it’s one which will bring the best out of my players – and it will have to, if we are to get anything from the game. They are flying and we need to be at our best to get three points. They will come with bags of confidence – and why wouldn’t they – but I believe if we play to the game plan and get some consistency where we play for both halves rather than just one half -we can get a brilliant win and push back up the League.”
“Hopefully we get a good crowd down for what I’m sure will be a great game.”
