Gary Bryant heads into today’s NCEL Division One clash with Hallam looking to continue his 100% win ratio as Manager of Shirebrook Town, but he knows it’ll be as tough as against one of the promotion favourites.
“It is a tough test for us at Shirebrook Town today as we face a very good Hallam team at Langwith Road!”
“Our first game in charge last week for me and Carl (Plastow) and it couldn’t have gone any better. Going 1-0 down and then to come from behind to win 3-1 was an achievement for us.”
“We’ve got a young squad with the youngest player on that pitch just 16 years old for us on Saturday, but we put a performance in and that’s what got us over the line. There is no better feeling than when the supporters are waiting for you after it’s finished to clap you off the pitch.”
“But we know that the next three games will see what we’ve got in us. Hallam today, then Campion back to back next week; so the fixtures haven’t been nice to us but we will be ready for them and hopefully give them a good game.”
