Hellewell adds new face to squad & knows importance of Hallam tie!

After two defeats on the spin, 4th placed Winterton Rangers travel to Hallam, two places below them, on Saturday knowing that three points are required to keep them in touch with the top three, writes Ian Robinson.

Without a game for two weeks, Rangers are raring to get back into it according to Manager Scott Hellewell.

“The lads are buzzing to get back out there, I think the break after two poor results came at the right time and I’m really looking forward to Saturday (weather permitting) against a good Hallam side.
The reverse fixture was a tight affair which was full blooded and I expect exactly the same this Saturday. Hallam is never an easy place to go and it’s a big game for both sides.”

Scott also spoke of a new face at West Street, as he added “We welcome Noel Burdett back to the club. Once fully fit he will be a top player for us. We have trained well this week and had a very good turnout at training, the lads know they are all fighting for their places in the starting eleven.”
