OGILVIE: “We’ve achieved nothing yet…”

Craig Ogilvie finally felt that winning feeling last Saturday, with Harrogate Railway Athletic’ s first league win since August, a result which lifted them out of the relegation zone.

However, he ist get carried away, “Our tough run of games continues against Garforth this Saturday and it’s a game we are looking forward to and go into on a little bit of a high from last weeks victory against Barton.

“We enjoyed finally getting 3 points but that’s all it is, 3 points! Training on Tuesday was good and everyone was focussed on this weeks game with nothing really said about last week which is how I wanted it to be.

“We’ve achieved nothing yet, yes we’re playing well but we are far from safe and the lads have been told they need to stay hungry for wins. These lads enjoyed winning last week and want to do it again this week and moving forward! The enjoyment, the feel of winning I think will only kick us on for the remainder of the season.

“We’re not going to get points in every game and have a very tough next 4 games, but I think we’re proving now in our performances and results we’re not an easy side to play against.

“Pressure will always be on every other team we play to get 3 points against us based on the league table and based on what’s at their disposal, Garforth are in that bracket, especially when you compare the 2 sides so we’ll keep enjoying being underdogs every game and keep doing what we’re doing which is fighting for every point in every game we play.”
