Harworth keen to right a few wrongs at Armthorpe

Harworth Colliery

Harworth Colliery Manager Lee Needham is hoping that his players are still thinking of last week’s 2-1 defeat at the hands of fellow strugglers Armthorpe Welfare as the two clubs prepare to meet again at Church Street tomorrow, subject to a 10.30 pitch inspection, writes Ian Robinson.

“I think it’s always good to go and play a team the week after when you have just lost to them, the players have still got that horrible feeling and they will want to right a few wrongs so to speak” said Lee.

“Last weekend was hard to take so we are looking forward to getting back out there this weekend. I know the Harworth fans will travel to come and support the lads and I feel we owe them one, so that’s exactly what we will be looking to do, give them a performance they can be proud of especially as I thought we could have given them more last weekend.”
