Bottesford Town’s Head of Media Operations Howard Pirie is no doubt looking forward to his fish and chips at the seaside tomorrow as The Poachers travel to the East coast to face Bridlington Town, writes Ian Robinson.
“It’s always a treat to visit the only team in the division with a harbour, although it will be different to not to be locking horns with Curtis, who was always good value for a controversial one liner.”said Howard.
“We always seem to raise our game against Bridlington and hopefully this weekend nothing will change. We need another last minute winner and a pitch invasion by Deightsy to send us home happy in the knowledge that we have had the four s’s (sun, sea, sangria and sixteen pints of lager). Brid have always been big hitters in this division and are rightly pushing for promotion, but let’s hope we can put a spanner in the works, as in the words of Terry Jacks “We are having another decent season in the sun”.
