Whitehead is desperate to get back into competitive action this afternoon after a blank weekend

With up to three games in hand on the sides above them in Toolstation NCEL Division One, sixth-placed Hallam make for resurgent Glasshoughton Welfare (11th) today anxious to maintain their pursuit of the League leaders with a win at the TJ’s Travel Arena-and Joint Manager Stephen Whitehead is desperate to get back into competitive action this afternoon after a blank weekend, writes Colin Muncie.

“Let’s hope we get the game on” Stephen told us “Our lads have trained hard and are looking forward to getting back in action. They know what we expect from them between now and the end of theseason.”

“Let’s see if they can produce what we believe they can”.
