Barrett knows Borough cannot afford any slip-ups!

Division One table toppers Grimsby Borough travel to Armthorpe Welfare on Saturday looking to extend their winning run to six games in all competitions, writes Ian Robinson.

“We go into the game with a reasonably good run of form, but our opponents have also had a good run since we last played each other” said Borough Manager Daniel Barrett.

“They have some good players and are a threat going forward without a doubt. Luke Williams causes a threat every time he gets the ball so we have to be aware of their strengths. We lost away at Armthorpe last season and it was one of those games that was the Achilles Heel in our season, so we can’t afford to let that happen again. It is a hard place to go and they are obviously battling for every point.”
