SPINK: “Rest assured we will be giving it everything so hopefully the fans come out in force and get behind us!”

Last night NCEL Division One side Harworth Colliery announced that Craig Spink would take over the reigns at Scrooby Road – assisted by former FC Bolsover manager Adam Valente.

The former Frickley Athletic and Worksop Town assistant is pleased with the appointment and is looking forward to the challenge ahead, “Absolutely delighted to takeover as Harworth Colliery first team manager.”

“Having spoken with the Chairman and the committee on Monday evening, I think it’s a great opportunity for myself and the coaching team. First and foremost it’s about the task at hand which is keeping the club in the division.”

“The long term vision of the club excites me and with hard work and the standards we will set on the field I fully expect the club to start moving to fulfil their potential.”

“A massive challenge ahead but one I’m absolutely prepared for. Massive game to start with, Saturday at home against Bolsover.”

“Rest assured we will be giving it everything, so hopefully the fans come out in force and get behind us.”
