Bottesford Town are in the midst of a difficult run of form and on Wednesday night they travel to league leaders Penistone Church – a game Head of Media Operations Howard Pirie says they’d love to take anything from.
“It doesn’t come any tougher than Penistone away on a Wednesday. February has been a tough month, Worksop away last week and now the league leaders. We are in the middle of a rut and will be happy to take anything from this game.”
“I for one will be glad when Penistone win the title and get promoted into the Lancashire league or The Lake District Combination. It’s a long way to go after a full day at work. It’s about time we threw in a worldie and pulled off a shock.”
“Maybe February 27th is that date, as long as it’s not called off when we get there. Corbs will need a Churchillian speech to rouse his troops against the hun.”
“Let’s just hope he will have his two fingers up at the end for Victory in Barnsley.”
