BAMF: “Lots of twists and turns to go no doubt, but we need to put our own house in order as we can’t affect anything else!”

If Sheffield side Hallam FC want to mount a challenge at the top of the NCEL Division One table, then a win on Saturday away at AFC Emley is a must. With two games in hand over the league leaders (who are facing bottom side FC Bolsover), collecting all three points from the Fantastic Media Stadium is a must.

Assistant Dean Bamforth knows however, that it will be a tough task. “We’re looking for our first win in three this Saturday; we haven’t said that in a while.”

“Another tough game against Emley who are a lot better than results suggest. Lots of twists and turns to go no doubt, but we need to put our own house in order as we can’t affect anything else.”

Joint Managers, Scott Bates, echoed Bamf’s sentiments. “It’s been a week of up and down results, so Saturday is another massive challenge against a well drilled team, which limit you to a very few chances. We all have to be full of beans and raring to go.”

While lastly Joint Manager, Stephen Whitehead, expects a difficult and intrusive examination. “Well we’ve played Emley twice already this season and in both games although we’ve won they have been really tough to play against.”

“We come off the back of two draws so will be looking to get back to winning ways and in the last two games have only scored once, so we will be looking to improve on that.”

“It will be important that we work hard first and foremost, come out of the blocks quickly as we’ve not done that in the past two games and see if we can get the 3 points in another tough fixture.”
