Collins hoping Skeggy can halt in-form Nostell

It’s a 216 mile round-trip for Nostell Miners Welfare on Saturday as they visit the bright lights of Skegness and face The Lilywhites at the Vertigo Stadium.

Nostell, currently 4th, are within touching distance of promotion and having lost just once in the league since the end of October, Jason Dodsworth has his side firing. “Another big game and a journey over to Skegvegas. We are going there for three points and nothing less.”

“We’re happy with our performances and the levels the lads have set are fantastic. We need to keep these up for the remainder of the season now. It’s a new ground and it’s going to be a tough game against a team that’s fighting to stay in the league.”

“The gaffa (Nathan Collins) knows us from his time at Grimsby, so will have his lads fired up for what should be a cracking game. We know what’s required from us, so hopefully we can return with the points Saturday afternoon.”

Home Manager, Nathan Collins, has his eyes firmly fixed on safety and this means they need points. “I am expecting a tough game against one of the teams going for promotion but we are really looking forward to it and hoping to build on last weeks performance and keep our fantastic home form going.”
