“Performance of the Day”… Parkgate’s sports therapist, Kimberley Phillis!

A strong contender for ‘Performance of the Day’ must go to Parkgate’s sports therapist, Kimberley Phillis for her outstanding contribution in yesterday’s 4-1 home win over Shirebrook Town, writes Colin Muncie.

Kimberley joined the Steelmen at the beginning of last season and quickly became a firm favourite at Roundwood.
Yesterday, and as the Shirebrook Town Twitter feed was quick to point out, Kimberley went to the assistance of two Shirebrook players after a clash of heads. Thankfully, her swift response brought about a happy outcome for both Town players.

“A massive thank you to @parkgatefc physio on assisting with both Shirebrook players colliding heads,” said the Twitter feed. “Both players are out of hospital and recovering with headaches. Thank you very much; it was greatly appreciated @ShirebrookTownFC.”

Well done to Kimberley – ‘Player of the Day!’
