Bridlington Town are in a rich vein of form at the moment, having not lost since late January, a run which has seen them climb up to 3rd spot in the Premier Division and reach the Final of the East Riding Senior Cup for the sixth season in a row, writes Ian Robinson.
Saturday sees The Seasiders travel across The Humber Bridge fo face Dave Ricardo’s Barton Town, with Manager Brett Agnew acknowledging that The Swans are likely to be tougher opponents than their league position suggests. “They maybe have under achieved this season, but they can be very dangerous on their day,” said Brett.
“They have some good players and Dave will have them right up for it to try and burst our bubble, but we are full of confidence and have second place in sight with a win, so we need to perform like we did last Saturday and be ruthless in front of goal. If we have that same desire and enthusiasm then we will be very tough to beat. “We have big players coming back into the squad so we will be stronger. It will be a good game to watch I think and hopefully, plenty of goals for the fans.”
