SEWELL expects a tricky tie as EYC teeter just above the drop zone

East Yorkshire Carnegie are on the road today for the first time in a month as they travel to Worsbrough Bridge Athletic – and Manager Leon Sewell explains the importance of collecting points as they teeter just above the relegation zone.

“After having no game away at Dronfield Town last Saturday, tomorrow is a great opportunity for us to back up our home 3-2 victory.”

“We trained Saturday afternoon and Thursday night and had great numbers with every player coming through unscathed.”

“Lee Morris has done a fantastic job with his side this season. For us today Worsbrough Bridge away will be tricky, however having had that free break and no mid-week game I’m certain the lads will be ready and raring to go, whereas Worsbrough played 90 minutes mid-week in what reads like an entertaining game.”
