A late Gary King goal rescued a point for Skegness Town as they drew 1-1 with high-flying Hallam.
Micah Bishop had initially put Hallam in front with 18 minutes on the clock left, but King showed the 156 fans packed into the Vertigo Stadium just why Nathan Collins was keen to sign the striker.
“Very pleased with the lads today who were really good value for a point and could have possibly got all 3 right at the end. Nick and myself asked for a similar performance as last week; and as a whole squad, when we perform like that we can match any side in this league.”
“Hallam are a very physical and direct side so you have to compete for every first and second ball and I thought the lads did that today, we look forward to the return game next week.”
