OGI: “We’ll have to earn them [points] but I’m looking forward to the CHALLENGE!”

Craig Ogilvie takes his Harrogate Railway side to South Humberside this evening for a trip across the Humber Bridge to face Barton Town and he knows points on the board are a must to get out of the relegation zone.

“It’ll be a tough trip over to Barton Tuesday night. They’re a good side and we had a really good game at our place and it could have gone either way. They had a man sent off that day too which helped so I’m expecting a very tough game and Dave will be expecting a reaction from his players after the defeat by Garforth.”

“I know they’ve struggled this year with injuries which has no doubt hindered them finishing higher than they will do this season. They’ve got a great set up over there and I’ve always enjoyed my visits, if I’m honest.”

“They’re passionate about their football and I like clubs like that,” as I’ve said previously. “They tried to play the right way last time and I expect the same again, which will hopefully make it a good game.”

“There’s pressure on us to get a result as we need points a hell of a lot more than Barton do, that’s for sure. That said, there is no way we’ll have an easy time of it – nor does it mean that Barton will role over and give us points! We’ll have to earn them but I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
